Isaiah Harris Commits to Houston
Isaiah Harris, a 2025 offensive lineman from Soldotna, Alaska, has committed to the University of Houston. Harris, a three-year starter for the Soldotna Stars, chose the Cougars over offers from several other Power Five programs. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman is expected to play a key role in Houston's offense, which features a zone-blocking scheme that should suit his skills. Harris will have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot immediately, as the Cougars' depth chart is expected to be relatively thin at his position. Houston's strong academic program was also a major factor in Harris' decision. He plans to major in business administration. Harris previously committed to the University of Oregon but decommitted in April after visiting Houston's campus. He is ranked as a three-star prospect by several recruiting services.
