Cade Hall: From Setbacks to Starting Linebacker
Eagle River Wolves linebacker Cade Hall has been a force to be reckoned with on the 4A gridiron, despite a setback-filled past. Last season, Hall racked up 12 tackles for loss, including 5 sacks, in just 6 games. The junior's impressive play earned him a starting role heading into the 2026 campaign. Hall's journey to the top was not without its challenges, however. A torn ACL in his sophomore year forced him to watch from the sidelines as his team battled for a playoff spot. Undeterred, Hall dedicated himself to a rigorous rehabilitation program, which paid dividends when he returned to the field. Now, scouts are taking notice of the 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker's speed, agility and tackling prowess. As the Wolves look to make a deep run in the 4A playoffs, Hall's presence in the middle of the defense will be a key factor. Scouts are watching for Hall to build on his impressive sophomore season and prove himself as one of the top linebackers in the state.
