Caleb Wilson: From Injury to Impact
Eagle River Wolves defensive end Caleb Wilson has rebounded from a torn ACL to earn a starting role heading into the 2026 season. Wilson racked up 12 sacks as a sophomore in 2024, a 4A Alaska state record for a sophomore. His impressive performance earned him All-State honors. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior has spent the offseason rebuilding his strength and refining his technique. Wilson participated in the ASAA's elite football camp in June, where he showcased his speed and agility. Coaches and scouts are impressed with his ability to bend around the edge and get to the quarterback. Wilson's determination and work ethic have not gone unnoticed, as he's been named a top prospect in the state of Alaska by multiple recruiting services. As the Wolves prepare for the upcoming season, scouts will be watching to see if Wilson can maintain his dominant performance and continue to develop his skills.
