As the ASAA flag football pilot district expansion creates new pathways for Texas athletes, Dimond Lynx girls flag football players are taking note of verified scholarship programs in the region. The University of Nebraska, with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is set to launch its inaugural 2028 season as a Power 4 school in the Big Ten. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse offering up to 12 scholarships, remains a top destination for top talent. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is still in development, athletes can begin exploring these verified scholarship pathways. Dimond Lynx players are encouraged to research and reach out to these programs directly to learn more about their recruitment processes.
