Bryce Taylor Commits to Baylor as Defensive End
Bryce Taylor, a 4A defensive end from the Service Cougars, has committed to Baylor University for the Class of 2026. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Taylor chose Baylor due to its 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his athletic abilities. He is expected to compete for a starting spot at defensive end, providing depth to the Bears' defensive line. Additionally, Baylor's academic program was a major factor in Taylor's decision, as he seeks to major in business. Taylor had previously considered the University of Oregon but ultimately chose Baylor due to its better fit. He attended a summer camp at Baylor in June and was impressed with the team's culture and coaching staff. Taylor's commitment to Baylor is a significant addition to the Bears' recruiting class for the 2026 season.
