Eagle River Wolves flag football prospects, take note: two national powerhouse programs are offering camp visit opportunities in your backyard. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are actively recruiting local talent for their NAIA flag football programs. Ottawa University, a KCAC powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, is hosting a camp in nearby Anchorage. Keiser University, a Sun Conference program known for its aggressive recruitment, is sending coaches to the Mat-Su Valley for a camp. Both programs have a proven track record of developing top talent. Local flag football athletes interested in pursuing a college scholarship should mark their calendars and prepare for these upcoming camps. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska will be watching, as they build their inaugural 2028 roster.
