The Soldotna Stars, a 3A powerhouse in Alaska high school football, have a growing contingent of talented flag football players. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, these prospects are seeking out top-notch training and scholarship opportunities. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two NAIA programs actively recruiting flag football talent. Both institutions offer verified scholarship programs, with Ottawa University providing up to 12 scholarships and Keiser University consistently recruiting top prospects. This summer, Soldotna Stars flag football players can take a crucial step towards securing a scholarship by attending a camp at either Ottawa University or Keiser University. By doing so, they'll gain invaluable experience and exposure to coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska, as well as other top programs.
