Eagle River Wolves Flag Prospects Eye Ottawa University, Keiser University Camps
The Eagle River Wolves, a 4A powerhouse from Alaska, are gearing up for their inaugural flag football season. As the team prepares for the 2027 campaign, local flag prospects are being courted by NAIA programs with verified scholarship offerings. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two schools that have reached out to the Wolves' coaching staff to extend invitations to their summer camps. These camps provide a unique opportunity for local athletes to showcase their skills and potentially earn a spot on one of these programs' rosters. For those interested in attending, both Ottawa University and Keiser University will be hosting camps in July and August. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural NCAA D1 flag football program in 2028, is also monitoring the Wolves' development, but it's the NAIA programs that currently offer scholarships to qualified athletes.
