Auburn Extends Offer to Service Cougars LB Marcus Johnson
The Auburn Tigers have extended an offer to Class of 2026 linebacker Marcus Johnson of the Service Cougars. Johnson, a 6-foot-1, 215-pound inside linebacker, has been a standout performer for the Cougars, recording 120 tackles and 12 sacks as a sophomore. He has also been clocked at a 4.65 40-yard dash time. In addition to Auburn, Johnson holds offers from the University of Oregon and the University of Washington. The Service Cougars LB has also been drawing attention from other Power Five programs, including the University of Alabama and the University of Texas. Johnson is expected to attend several camps and combines throughout the summer, including the Rivals100 Camp and the Nike Opening Regional. He plans to make a decision on his college commitment by the end of his junior year, with a potential announcement in the spring of 2027.
