Local Flag Football Prospects Eye NAIA Opportunities
Shiloh Christian Saints' flag football program is gaining momentum, and local prospects are taking notice of the growing number of NAIA programs offering scholarships. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two schools actively recruiting top talent. The Saints' coaching staff is encouraging players to explore these opportunities through summer camps and visits. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, will host a camp in late July. Keiser University will also host a camp in early August. Midland University, Nebraska, another NAIA program, is also an option for local athletes. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. The University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season is highly anticipated, but its Power 4 status means limited spots are available. Local flag football prospects can register for Ottawa University's camp through their website or contact the Saints' coaching staff for more information on Keiser University's camp visit opportunity.
