Michigan Extends Offer to Bryant Hornets WR Austin Taylor
The University of Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to Austin Taylor, a 7A wide receiver from Bryant High School in Arkansas. Taylor, a rising senior in the Class of 2026, stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 180 pounds. He recorded 43 receptions for 744 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior, averaging 17.3 yards per catch. The 17-year-old has already drawn interest from other top programs, including Alabama, Georgia and LSU, which offered him in April. Taylor is expected to attend Michigan's summer camp in July, where he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of the Wolverines' coaching staff. Taylor's recruitment is expected to heat up in the coming months, with several other Power Five programs likely to extend offers in the fall. The Bryant Hornets are set to open their season in late August, and Taylor will look to build on his impressive junior campaign as a senior.
