Austin Williams Commits to Iowa State
Pulaski Academy Bruins tight end Austin Williams, a Class of 2025 prospect, has committed to Iowa State University. Williams, a 5A standout, chose the Cyclones over other Power Five offers. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound athlete fits Iowa State's scheme, which emphasizes vertical passing and tight end involvement. He expects to compete for a starting role immediately, with the Cyclones' current depth chart indicating a need for a second tight end. Iowa State's academic program, which boasts a 97% graduation rate, also appealed to Williams. He initially committed to the University of Arkansas in February but reopened his recruitment in April. Williams' commitment adds to Iowa State's impressive 2025 recruiting class, which currently ranks among the top 20 nationally.
