Bulldog Blocker Balances Books and Brute Strength
Greenwood OL Bryce Harris, a 6A varsity starter in the Class of 2025, has been a force on the Bulldogs' line, recording 25 pancake blocks in the 2024 spring jamboree. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound lineman has also been a standout in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout his high school career. Harris' academic prowess has earned him a spot on the AAA Academic All-State team. As a junior, he was named to the AAA All-District First Team, and scouts are taking notice of his well-rounded skills. Harris has received interest from several Power 5 programs, including Alabama and Georgia, with some speculating he could be a top target for the Crimson Tide. With his size, strength and academic credentials, Harris is a player to watch this season.
