At Shiloh Christian Saints, running back coach, Jake Thompson, is putting his RBs through a grueling summer sprint drill to build explosive speed and endurance. The drill consists of 3 sets of 10 reps, with a 30-second rest between sets. Each rep starts with a 5-yard dash to the left, then a 5-yard cut to the right, and finishes with a 10-yard sprint to the end zone. Coaching cues include: 'Keep your eyes up, focus on the finish line,' and 'Drive your legs, don't just run on your toes.'
