Shiloh Christian Saints Name New Defensive Coordinator
Shiloh Christian Saints head coach, Mark Owen, announced Friday that assistant coach, Tyler Harris, has been promoted to defensive coordinator. Harris has spent the last five seasons with the program, developing key players and contributing to the team's growth. In that time, the Saints have posted a 32-20 record, including a 7-3 mark in 2024. Harris' elevation is expected to bolster the team's recruiting efforts, particularly in the defensive backfield, where he has a reputation for identifying and developing talent. The move also adds depth to the coaching staff, which will be crucial as the Saints face a challenging 4A schedule this fall. Harris' first task will be to prepare the team for the upcoming season, which begins with a nonconference matchup against rival, Rogers Heritage.
