The North Little Rock Charging Wildcats are gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season of girls flag football in Arkansas. As the team prepares for the new season, local flag prospects are being encouraged to explore verified scholarship pathways. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two NAIA programs actively recruiting flag talent. Wildcats flag players can take advantage of upcoming camp visit opportunities at both institutions. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse, offers up to 12 scholarships, while Keiser University has a strong track record of recruiting top flag prospects. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska are also building a Power 5 program, but scholarships will not be available until the 2028 season. Interested Wildcats flag players should reach out to their coaches for more information on camp visit opportunities and scholarship eligibility.
