The Saguaro Sabercats, a 5A powerhouse from Scottsdale, are generating buzz in the Arizona flag football scene. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is at the forefront of scholarship opportunities. However, local prospects have a chance to connect with another national powerhouse: Ottawa University, Kansas. The school offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships and has a strong presence in the KCAC. Keiser University, Florida, is also actively recruiting and invites prospects to its camps. For Saguaro flag players, a visit to one of these camps could be a crucial step in securing a scholarship. Coaches from both Ottawa University and Keiser University will be in attendance, providing an opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and learn more about the programs.
