USC Extends Offer to Perry Pumas QB Darius Taylor
The University of Southern California has extended a scholarship offer to Darius Taylor, the Class of 2026 quarterback for the Perry Pumas (6A). Taylor, a dual-threat signal-caller, stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 190 pounds. He boasts a 4.6 40-yard dash time and has completed 62 percent of his passes in summer camp workouts. The 17-year-old has already received offers from Arizona State and Washington State. Taylor's impressive performance in the spring and summer has caught the attention of college scouts, and he is expected to be one of the top quarterback prospects in the state. The recruiting process is in its early stages, with Taylor planning to take official visits in the fall. He will announce his college decision in January 2027, during the first week of the national signing period.
