Chandler Wolves' Multisport Athlete Eyes Flag Football Scholarship Opportunities
As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is generating buzz among multisport female athletes. For Chandler Wolves' standout athlete, Emily Wilson, the opportunity to pivot to flag football for college scholarship potential is too enticing to pass up. Wilson, a 6A standout in multiple sports, has been actively recruited by NAIA programs Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida. Midland University, Nebraska, has also expressed interest. With up to 12 scholarships available at Ottawa University, Wilson is exploring her options and preparing for the upcoming recruiting cycle. To increase her chances, Wilson is focusing on creating a highlight tape showcasing her skills and participating in summer camps to gain exposure.
