Jayden Smith Commits to TCU

Jayden Smith, a tight end from the De La Salle Spartans, has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs, per sources. The Class of 2027 prospect chose TCU after considering several Power Five offers. Smith's commitment is seen as a significant addition to the Horned Frogs' tight end room, where he will have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot in a pass-happy scheme. The Spartans' standout athlete also cited TCU's strong academic program as a major factor in his decision. Smith held offers from several other top programs, including USC and Oregon, before ultimately choosing the Horned Frogs. He is the first commit from the CIF-SS in the 2027 class to pledge to TCU.
