Malik Young Commits to Air Force
Corona Centennial wide receiver Malik Young has committed to play for the Air Force Falcons, the school announced Thursday. Young, a Class of 2025 standout, is the first commitment for the Huskies this offseason. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver chose Air Force for its high-powered offense, which should allow him to showcase his skills as a deep threat. The Falcons' coaching staff also expressed interest in Young's ability to contribute immediately, citing his strong route-running skills and athleticism. Air Force's academic program, which is renowned for its engineering and science programs, also appealed to Young, who is interested in studying engineering. Young had previously committed to another school, but reopened his recruitment in the spring and began taking official visits in June. He is expected to sign with Air Force in the coming weeks.
