Trevon Allen Commits to Baylor
Trevon Allen, a 4A defensive end from Oaks Christian High School, has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2025 standout chose the Bears over other Power Five offers, citing a strong fit in Baylor's defensive scheme and a clear path to early playing time. Allen, who measured 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds at the 2024 CIF Southern Section Football Media Day, is expected to contribute immediately in Baylor's 3-4 defense. The Oaks Christian Lions' leader in sacks and tackles for loss last season, Allen also praised Baylor's academic program, noting its strong reputation for producing graduates in fields such as engineering and business. Allen had previously committed to UCLA before decommitting in May, but ultimately chose Baylor for its athletic and academic opportunities.
