Jordan Brown Commits to Texas Tech
Serra Cavaliers linebacker Jordan Brown has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Class of 2026 standout chose the Big 12 program after considering offers from several other top-tier schools. Brown cited the Red Raiders' 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision, noting that it aligns with his skillset and playing style. He also praised the academic programs at Texas Tech, stating that they will provide him with a well-rounded education and support his future goals. Brown previously decommitted from UCLA in March, but ultimately felt that Texas Tech offered the best fit for his athletic and academic aspirations. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker is expected to contribute immediately to the Red Raiders' defense, which is looking to rebuild after a disappointing 2025 season.
