Noah Anderson Commits to UTSA
Mater Dei Monarchs defensive end Noah Anderson has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio, the school announced Thursday. The Class of 2027 standout chose the Roadrunners over other Division I offers, citing a strong fit with UTSA's 3-4 defensive scheme. Anderson is expected to contribute immediately, with a potential opening on the depth chart at defensive end. He also praised the university's academic programs, particularly the business school. Anderson had previously committed to the University of Hawaii in February but decommitted in May, citing a desire to explore other options. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound defender is considered one of the top prospects in the CIF Southern Section, with a strong showing at the recent Nike SPARQ combine. Anderson is expected to play a key role in the Monarchs' preseason preparations.
