Jordan Jackson Commits to Iowa State
Jordan Jackson, a Class of 2027 safety from Mater Dei High School, has committed to Iowa State University. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete chose the Cyclones due to their defensive scheme, which aligns with his aggressive playing style. Jackson believes he will have an opportunity to contribute immediately, as the Cyclones' secondary is expected to undergo significant changes this season. Additionally, he is drawn to Iowa State's strong academic program, which offers a range of engineering and business courses. Jackson previously held a commitment to UCLA, but re-opened his recruitment in April after re-evaluating his options. He is expected to report to Iowa State's summer camp in August, where he will begin working with the coaching staff and his new teammates. Jackson's commitment is a significant addition to the Cyclones' 2027 recruiting class.
