Austin Thomas Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Austin Thomas, a 2027 offensive lineman from Oaks Christian High School, has committed to play for the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect chose UTSA due to the program's fit with his skills, particularly in the team's zone-blocking scheme. Thomas will have the opportunity to contribute immediately, as the Roadrunners are looking to rebuild their offensive line. Academically, UTSA's strong business program aligns with Thomas' interests. He previously held a commitment to the University of Arizona but reopened his recruitment in April. Thomas' commitment to UTSA marks a significant addition to the program's 2027 class. The Oaks Christian Lions are expected to be a contender in the CIF Southern Section 4A division this season, and Thomas' departure will be felt on the line.
