Oaks Christian Lions Hire New Wide Receivers Coach
The Oaks Christian Lions, a 4A program based in Westlake Village, have added a new face to their coaching staff ahead of the upcoming season. The Lions have hired veteran coach, Alex Johnson, to lead their wide receivers. Johnson brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Lions, including stints at several top programs in the CIF-Southern Section. His hiring is expected to boost the Lions' passing game, which struggled last season. With the addition of Johnson, the Lions will look to improve their chances of competing for a CIF-SS Western Division title. The Lions' recruiting class has been touted as one of the top in the division, and Johnson's expertise is expected to help the team capitalize on its talent. The Lions' first day of camp is scheduled for August 1.
