Caleb White Commits to SMU for 2027-28 Season
Eaglecrest Raptors linebacker Caleb White has committed to SMU for the 2027-28 season. White, a Class of 2027 prospect, chose the Mustangs over other Division I offers. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound linebacker is expected to fit into SMU's 3-4 defensive scheme, where he can utilize his athleticism and instincts to make plays in the box. White's commitment is a significant pickup for the Mustangs, who are looking to bolster their linebacker corps. With the departure of several key defenders, White is expected to compete for a starting role immediately. SMU's academic program, which offers a range of business and engineering majors, was also a factor in White's decision.
