Jayden White Commits to Iowa State
Valor Christian Eagles tight end Jayden White has committed to Iowa State University, the school announced Friday. White, a 5A prospect in the Class of 2025, chose the Cyclones over other Power Five offers. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end is a key addition for Iowa State, which features a pro-style offense that should play to his strengths. White will have a chance to contribute immediately, as the Cyclones' tight end depth chart is thin. Iowa State's academic program, which offers a strong engineering program, also appealed to White. The Valor Christian standout had previously committed to Colorado State but reopened his recruitment in April. White's commitment is a significant get for Iowa State, which is looking to rebuild its tight end corps. He is expected to enroll at Iowa State in the summer of 2025.
