Raptors' Flag Football Star Draws Interest from Nebraska, NAIA Programs

Eaglecrest Raptors' standout flag football player, 17-year-old Maya Ramos, has caught the attention of top collegiate programs. The 2028 graduate has received verified interest from the University of Nebraska's inaugural women's flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Ramos has also drawn interest from NAIA powerhouses Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida. Additionally, Midland University, Nebraska, has expressed interest in the talented athlete. UT Arlington's developing program has also taken notice of Ramos' skills. With verified scholarship opportunities on the table, Ramos is urged to focus on her academic and athletic development, as well as creating highlight tapes to showcase her abilities. This summer, Ramos will attend a series of skills camps to refine her skills and increase her visibility to college coaches.
