Bruins Flag Football Prospect Draws Interest from Power Programs

๐Ÿ“ Cherry Creek BruinsยทThursday, July 16, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Cherry Creek Bruins rising junior flag football star, Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of several top programs. According to sources, Wilson has received verified interest from the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football program in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University in Kansas and Keiser University in Florida have also expressed interest in Wilson's skills. Midland University in Nebraska has also reached out to the Bruins' coaching staff to discuss potential opportunities for Wilson. As Wilson continues to develop her skills through summer camps and training sessions, she is advised to research and reach out to these programs to explore verified scholarship pathways. With UT Arlington's program still in development, Wilson's focus should be on the Power 4 school and NAIA programs that are actively recruiting flag football talent.
