Fairfield Prep Jesuits Girls Flag Football Athletes Targeted by Top NAIA Programs
As CIAC's flag football pilot district expansion creates new opportunities for Texas athletes, Fairfield Prep Jesuits' standout players are being courted by top NAIA programs. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter, have both expressed interest in the Jesuits' talent. Meanwhile, Midland University, Nebraska, has also been actively recruiting Fairfield Prep athletes, highlighting the growing presence of NAIA flag football programs. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. The University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season and Power 4 status make it an attractive destination for top performers. Prospective athletes can take concrete steps by researching these programs and reaching out to coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska, as well as Ottawa University, Keiser University, and Midland University.
