The Hand Tigers football program in Madison, Conn., is set to undergo a major transformation with the groundbreaking of a $1 million facility upgrade. The Tigers, a Class L program that finished 6-4 last season, will benefit from the new facilities, which will include a state-of-the-art weight room, locker rooms and a renovated field house. The upgrade is expected to give the program a competitive edge in recruiting, as coaches will now have the ability to offer top prospects a world-class training environment. The Tigers will look to build on their recent success, which included a postseason appearance in 2024. With the new facilities, Hand is poised to take the next step and become a dominant force in the CIAC Class L division.
