Hand Tigers Prospects Eye Nebraska's 2028 Flag Football Inaugural Season

๐Ÿ“ Hand TigersยทTuesday, July 14, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

High school flag football players from Madison, including those on the Hand Tigers, are taking notice of the University of Nebraska's 2028 inaugural season. Coached by Liz and Katie Sowers, the Cornhuskers are set to join the Power 4 schools in the Big Ten. For Madison prospects, this means new scholarship opportunities. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, remains a top option. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting flag football players. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, does not yet offer scholarships. Athletes interested in Nebraska's program can start by creating highlight tapes and researching the Cornhuskers' coaching staff and recruiting process.
