Fairfield Prep Jesuits DE Hunter Moore Commits to Army
Hunter Moore, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end from Fairfield Prep Jesuits in Connecticut, has committed to Army for the Class of 2027. Moore's commitment to the Black Knights comes after a strong showing at Army's summer camp, where he impressed coaches with his speed and agility. The Fairfield Prep Jesuits' scheme, which features a 3-4 defensive alignment, aligns with Army's defensive system, making Moore a natural fit. Moore will also have the opportunity to contribute immediately, as Army's defensive line is expected to undergo significant turnover in the coming season. Moore was previously committed to Yale, but reopened his recruitment in May. He cited Army's strong academic program and opportunities for leadership as key factors in his decision. Moore is expected to enroll at Army in the summer of 2027 and participate in the Black Knights' preseason camp.
