Marcus Moore Commits to Iowa State

Marcus Moore, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker from the Class of 2027, has committed to Iowa State University. Moore, a standout performer for the Maloney Spartans (LL), chose the Cyclones over other Division I offers. Iowa State's 3-4 defensive scheme aligns with Moore's athletic abilities, and he is expected to compete for a starting spot upon arrival. The academic program at Iowa State also appealed to Moore, who maintains a 3.5 GPA. Moore had previously committed to the University of Connecticut but reopened his recruitment in April. He plans to enroll at Iowa State in the fall of 2027 and participate in the summer camp program. Moore's commitment to Iowa State marks a significant addition to the Cyclones' 2027 recruiting class.
