Devon Allen Commits to Arkansas
Middletown Cavaliers tight end Devon Allen has committed to the University of Arkansas for the Class of 2025. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound senior will join the Razorbacks' offense, which features a pro-style scheme that aligns with his athletic abilities. Allen is expected to contribute immediately, as Arkansas' tight end depth chart is relatively thin. The school's academic program, which offers a range of engineering and business majors, also appealed to Allen. He had previously committed to the University of Delaware but decommitted in May after visiting the Arkansas campus. Allen's decision is a significant pickup for the Razorbacks, who are rebuilding their offense for the 2026 season. He is considered one of the top tight end prospects in the DIAA's Class of 2025.
