S Spartans' Cameron Allen Commits to SMU
Cameron Allen, a safety from the St. Mark's Spartans, has committed to SMU for the class of 2025. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Allen chose the Mustangs over other Division I offers, citing a strong fit in the team's defensive scheme. SMU's emphasis on a multiple-front defense aligns with Allen's skills, and he sees an opportunity to contribute immediately. The Spartans' Class of 2025 defense will lose several key players to graduation, leaving an opening for Allen to make an impact. Allen also praised SMU's strong academic program and the resources available to student-athletes. He previously held offers from Delaware State and Towson, but ultimately chose SMU after a summer camp visit. Allen's commitment brings the Spartans' total Division I commits to three for the class of 2025.
