The St. Mark's Spartans, a Division II program from Wilmington, Delaware, have officially broken ground on a $2 million facility upgrade. The improvements, set to be completed in time for the upcoming season, will include state-of-the-art locker rooms, a renovated weight room and a new turf field. The upgrade is expected to give the Spartans a significant recruiting edge, as well as a competitive advantage in the Division II league. The program, which has seen recent success with a 7-4 record last season, is looking to build on that momentum with the new facilities. The upgrade is also expected to increase visibility for the program, potentially attracting top talent from the region.
