Noah Harris Commits to Texas Tech
Smyrna Eagles linebacker Noah Harris has committed to Texas Tech for the Class of 2027. Harris, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound inside linebacker, chose the Red Raiders over offers from several Power Five schools. Texas Tech's 3-4 defensive scheme aligns with Harris's strengths as a pass-rushing linebacker, and he projects to fill a depth chart need at the position. Harris also cited the university's strong academic programs and research opportunities as a major factor in his decision. Harris was previously committed to the University of Delaware but decommitted in May after a coaching staff change. Harris is expected to contribute immediately in Lubbock, where he will join a talented young defense. Harris's commitment adds to Texas Tech's strong recruiting class for the Class of 2027.
