Middletown LB Darius Johnson Commits to Army
Darius Johnson, a Class of 2025 linebacker from Middletown High School, has committed to play for the Army Black Knights. Johnson, who stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 215 pounds, chose Army due to the program's emphasis on a strong defensive front, which aligns with his skills and playing style. The Black Knights' 3-4 scheme will allow Johnson to utilize his athleticism and strength to make an immediate impact on the field. Additionally, Johnson was drawn to Army's academic program, which is renowned for its rigor and support. Johnson had previously considered other Division I programs, but ultimately felt that Army's balance of athletics and academics made it the best fit for his future goals. This commitment marks a significant addition to the Black Knights' 2025 recruiting class.
