Middletown Cavaliers Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade
The Middletown Cavaliers, a Division I program in Delaware, officially broke ground on a $3 million facility upgrade this week. The Cavaliers finished last season with a 7-4 record, narrowly missing the state playoffs. The new facility will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, a weight room, and a video analysis room. The upgrade is expected to give the program a significant recruiting edge, particularly in the highly competitive Central Delaware region. Cavaliers head coach, John Smith, said the new facility will be a game-changer for the program. 'This is a huge step forward for our program,' Smith said. 'We're excited to provide our student-athletes with the best possible resources to compete at the highest level.' The facility is expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2026 season.
