'The Chain Reaction' drill targets the OL's ability to react to defensive movements and maintain a strong block. Here's how to run it: Set up 3-4 OL players with a defensive lineman (DL) across from them. On the coach's signal, the DL will move laterally 3-4 feet, then quickly return to their original position. The OL players must maintain their block and react to the DL's movement. Perform 3 sets of 10 reps, with 30 seconds of rest between sets. Coaching cues include 'Stay wide, stay tall' and 'React, don't react.'
