Thomas Overcomes Adversity to Anchor Ascenders' Line
Noah Thomas, the 6-foot-4, 285-pound left tackle for IMG Academy's Ascenders, has been a dominant force on the field, showcasing his skills with a 4.5-second 20-yard shuttle at the 2024 FHSAA Combine. The Ascenders, a powerhouse program in 8A, are known for their aggressive blocking schemes, and Thomas' athleticism and strength have been crucial in executing these plays. Thomas' journey to becoming a starter was not without its challenges, however, as he suffered a torn ACL in his sophomore season. After a year of rehabilitation, Thomas returned to the field, determined to prove himself. His hard work paid off, as he earned a starting role and has been a key contributor to the Ascenders' success. Scouts are now watching to see how Thomas adapts to the Ascenders' new coaching staff and if he can maintain his level of performance throughout the season.
