Apopka Blue Darters Break Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade

The Apopka Blue Darters, an 8A powerhouse in central Florida, have officially broken ground on a $2 million facility upgrade. The project, set to be completed in time for the upcoming season, will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, training facilities and a renovated weight room. The upgrade comes on the heels of a 7-3 season in 2025, where the Blue Darters narrowly missed a district title. The facility upgrade is expected to give the program a significant recruiting edge, particularly in attracting top talent from the Orlando area. With the upgrade, the Blue Darters are poised to make a strong push for a district championship in 2026, and potentially make a deep run in the state playoffs.
