Florida Pounces on Lakeland Kicker Cameron Jackson
The Florida Gators have offered Class of 2025 kicker Cameron Jackson of the Lakeland Dreadnaughts, a 7A powerhouse in central Florida. Jackson, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound specialist, boasts a strong leg with a 45-yard field goal range and 60-yard kickoff distance. He has also recorded a 4.5-second 20-yard shuttle time and a 30-inch vertical jump. Jackson has already received scholarship offers from Kentucky and Louisville, and has also drawn interest from several other Power Five programs. The Dreadnaughts' kicker has been a key contributor to his team's success, earning all-district honors as a sophomore. With the start of the 2026 season just around the corner, Jackson is expected to be a focal point of recruiting efforts for top programs. As the fall approaches, expect Jackson to be a hot commodity on the recruiting trail, with several schools likely to extend him a scholarship offer in the coming months.
