USC Offers Safety DeShawn Allen, Cocoa Tigers' Top Talent
The University of Southern California has extended a scholarship offer to DeShawn Allen, a standout safety from Cocoa High School's 4A Tigers. Allen, a Class of 2025 prospect, has already drawn interest from top programs, including Florida State and Miami. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete has been a key contributor to the Tigers' secondary, recording 45 tackles and three interceptions as a junior. Allen's impressive performance has also earned him recognition as a First-Team All-State selection. With the offer from USC, Allen has taken his recruitment to the next level, and he is expected to visit the Trojans' campus in August. Allen's recruiting timeline is heating up, with plans to announce his decision in October, just before the start of the regular season.
