Caleb Allen Commits to Texas Tech Red Raiders
Caleb Allen, a tight end from the Class of 2027 at IMG Academy Ascenders (8A), has committed to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect chose the Red Raiders over other Power Five offers, citing the program's emphasis on the spread offense as a key factor in his decision. Allen is expected to compete for a starting role in the Red Raiders' tight end rotation, which features a mix of experienced veterans and young talent. The Ascenders' tight end is also drawn to Texas Tech's strong academic program, which offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree options. Allen had previously committed to the University of Texas but reopened his recruitment in April. He is considered one of the top tight end prospects in the state of Florida for the Class of 2027.
