Eagle Eye QB Drill: Collins Hill Eagles Training Tip

๐Ÿ“ Collins Hill EaglesยทWednesday, July 1, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

For Collins Hill Eagles quarterbacks, it's essential to develop quick decision-making and accuracy under pressure. The Eagle Eye drill targets these skills, helping QBs read defenses and deliver precise passes. Set up five stations: 3-yard, 5-yard, 7-yard, 10-yard, and 12-yard lines. Divide the QBs into pairs, with one player at each station and the other player as the receiver. The QB starts at the 3-yard line and must read the defense, then quickly throw to the receiver at the next station. Complete 3 sets of 5 reps, focusing on speed and accuracy. Coaching cues: 'Read the defense, not the receiver,' and 'Throw with confidence.' This drill translates to game performance by simulating the quick decisions and accuracy required to succeed in 7A football.
