This summer, 6A powerhouse Buford Wolves linebackers will be prepping for the upcoming season with a crucial drill focusing on speed, agility, and tackling technique. The 'L-3 Drill' involves three stations: a 10-yard sprint, a 5-yard change of direction, and a 3-yard tackle pad drill. Perform the following sets and reps: 3 sets of 10 reps at each station. Coaching cues include: 'Fast feet, fast hands' during the sprint, 'Quick feet, quick hips' during the change of direction, and 'Tackle the pad, not the man' during the tackling drill. This drill translates to game performance by improving reaction time, agility, and tackling efficiency โ€“ essential skills for any linebacker.
